How to Use OTT Standalone and OTT + Signage on the Pickcel Platform


Follow the steps below to learn how to use OTT.

1. Login to app.pickcel.com click on OTT.

2. Select the business type that best describes your organization.

3. Select the preferred content you want to play, then click Save.

4. Once you click Save, you'll be redirected to the OTT home page.


5. Go to the home page, click on
Default, and then select Create New Playlist. On the home page, you can create playlists to push content according to your needs. Multiple playlists can be created if required.



6.Enter a name for the new playlist and click Add.
 

7. You can see new playlist has been created.


8. click on the movies that needs to be added to your playlist.


9. Click on details.


10. Click Add to Playlist, then choose the desired playlist and click Proceed. The movie will be added to your playlist.
You can add any number of movies to the single playlist.


11. Once the playlist has been added, click the button displayed in the image below.
 


12. The added playlist data will be displayed. Click Proceed.


13. Once you click on Proceed, you'll see the option "How would you like to publish your content?" You have two choices:

  • OTT
  • OTT + Signage


14. When you choose OTT, you will be prompted to select a screen. Simply select the appropriate screen and click Proceed.


15. After proceeding, you'll be asked to set this composition as the default. Simply click Assign.


16. Now you can see the OTT content playing on your screen.

When you chose OTT + Signage


17. It will ask you to choose the layout.


18. After selecting the layout, push the OTT content into one zone and the signage content into another zone then click on Save composition.


19. The composition has been created successfully. You can now create a schedule or assign it as Quickplay or set it as the default composition.
